Centre communautaire culturel La Picasse (Petit-de-Grat)

The mission of the La Picasse is to promote the vitality of the French language and the Acadian culture. The boutique offers various products and works by Acadian artists and artisans. Its tourist information office offers many suggestions on how to discover the island and the region. The shows of local artists presented in its room of 375 seats are open to all.

LeNoir Forge Museum (Arichat)

Come visit one of the oldest stone buildings on Cape Breton Island. "Built between 1780 and 1800, the forge was an important enterprise on Isle Madame. Step back to a time when shipbuilding flourished, and local captains sailed all over the globe. Experience a working forge, and peruse a collection of tools and artifacts that tell some of the stories of Isle Madame.

Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site (Louisbourg)

A visit to the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site in Cape Breton is like taking a step back in history to a time when the French and English crowns fought for control of the New World, and all of Nova Scotia was a battleground. The Fortress is the largest historical reconstruction in North America and offers an incredible window to all aspects of life as lived by some of our first European settlers.

Big Fiddle (Sydney)

Cape Breton Highlands National Park (Ingonish Beach)

Centre de la Mi-Carême (Grand-Étang)

The Mi-Carême Centre promotes the rich tradition of the Mi-Carême fête that has been celebrated in the local Acadian area for centuries.
